Eclectic Interior Design Style
The home was bought with some finishes already decided such as espresso wood cabinets and medium brown wood flooring. I designed the living room built-in cabinets to coordinate with those existing finishes. I used a cool gray neutral canvas and implemented that color throughout the home using accent wall colors in specific locations. The peaceful mood of the design concept is invigorated by pops of color and layering of patterns. The lighting design adds to the ambiance of the space, the table lamps themselves adding to the color and texture of the design. The guest room furniture was hand painted by me in a motif taken from H.J. Heinz Co. advertising materials; the company where my great grandfather worked.
